I Recently Picked Up A Used 304 For My 78 Cj-7 For Way Cheap And Was Thinking About Boring It Out To Make It A 360. The Only Problem Is That I'm Not Sure If THATS EVEN POSSIBLE OR IF The 304 And The 360 Are The Same Block. The Motor Has Already Seen .030 Taken Out With Another .010 In Wear, So A Minimum Of .060 Was Necessary Any Way TO BRING IT BACK TO REBUILDABLE. Any Advice Is Greatly Appreciated As This Is My First Experience With Machine Work. Thank You

Go get a 360. You see them all the time for almost nothing. The 304 has different heads also. And the AMC V8s are externally balanced, meaning the the flywheel and harmonic balancer are unique to each displacement.
