so one day i noticed the liquid on the inside of my tire and checked it out and found this liquid just sitting there were my tire and axel come together (duno the real name for the area) cleaned it out once didnt think anything of it and its there again so im after what it is if anyone knows its kinda oily and clear and its only on the passenger side

your outer seal its inside the rectangular box on side of axle closest to wheel its a biiiatch to replace tho id reccomend takin it to someone not sayin you couldnt do it but doin it right requires pullin gears out if i remember right i made a tool out of spare washers and some threaded rod to do mine but in the end it still leaked

something usually causes that leak.... that seal doesn't "just go bad" very often ..... I would check that U joint on that side and make sure it's not allowing the shaft to wobble (that'll cause that seal to leak)

another thing to check is the breather tube (rubber hose attached to the top of the diff)... make sure it's not pinched or clogged.. if it is the axle could build up pressure and cause oil to come out of the seals

sounds like what would happen i was doing some pretty bumpy and rough stuff how bad is it gonna get if i dont fix it right away?

you can prob leave it for a while IF you check the oil level and keep it full.....

i plan to get it fixed soon asuming it wont cost an arm and a leg i dont think i can fix it myself
