1993 ZJ Engine Swap

I have a 1993 ZJ that originally had the 4.0 in it.  It has an automatic and full time transfer case.  The 4.0 in the Jeep bit the dust and the Jeep has been sitting in the yard for sale.  I recently came across a GM 4.8 inline 6 for sale for around 200 and the engine has recently been "rebuilt". I was wondering if the engine would be a viable swap into the Jeep.  Another option is to get a 4.0 out of one of the Pull Apart junk yards around here.  My fiance and I are on a very tight budget but since the Jeep broke down we only have one vehicle and that has put a lot of stress on the family.  If neither of those options is cost effective I was going to look at getting a beater to drive back and forth from school.

Thank you.

Cheapest route would be find a replacement 4.0 motor at the wrecking yard.
