NEED HELP/HINTS

I HAVE A MUDD BASH RACE THIS SUNDAY, AND THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING THIS OR EVEN DOING ANY OFFROADING, MONEY TROUBLE... I HAVE A 89 JEEP CHEROKEE WITH ALL LEAFS SUSPENSIONS, 35-12.50-15 ON 8X15 in. RIMS. THE ENGINE 4.0 LITRE, HAS ALMOST 300,000 MILES ON IT, IT'S WARN DOWN BUT STILL DRIVES/SPIN TIRES (LOOSE DIRT,SNOW,ICE,MUDD). DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS/HINTS TO GIVE WITH TIRE PSI., ETC..? i run my 33's on 15x10 in rims at about 12-15 psi and have never slipped a bead, make sure your engine is water resistant, put a baggie over the distributer, make sure the intake is up high etc.
