what part of ther body were they talking from?

the shocks will bolt on a tj tho the fronts are a bit long for stock tj suspension.

Hey Mud - Is there a prize for guessing the right body part?

As far as the springs, are you sure they said JK and not just Rubicon meaning a TJ Rubicon? The TJ Rubicon springs will give you at least 1" of lift depending on which springs they'd be replacng. The TJ came stock with several different spring rates depending on the different build options, like 4.0L vs. 2.4L, or hard top vs. soft top.

The springs have a lable on them to identify the spring rate. So you could compare yours with the heaviest available Rubi spring to figure out what you'd get. If you used some 4.0L Rubi hard top springs on a 2.4L soft top TJ, you'd probably get 2" of lift.

Since you already have a Rubi, you're probably out of luck for the cheap spring option.

hey guys, i have a 2004 rubicon with a 2 inch bb, i have a winch and installed the front part to level it out but cant install the rear because my shocks are too short. so i found the complete jk suspension on ebay, which i have been outbid on, ohwell. i did find out that the front springs will fit but the rears will not because the eyes where the sit on the perch is way too small. about half the size. but like you sait the shocks will fit and they see long enough for a 2 inch bb. thanks for the posts...

Just because they'll bolt up doesn't mean they are correct. There is a lot to spring rates and shock valving. Springs that are matched to the vehicle's weight and suspension dynamics, and shocks that are matched to the vehicle and springs, both go a long way to a nice performing suspension. Be careful of who you're getting information from. Save your money and do it right, the first time, because that will always be the least expensive!
