LJ Lift vs Tire Clearance

So I'm new to the Jeep world and have some questions about my '05 LJ. I want to put a modest 2" lift on it and am not sure about proper tire size + wheel backspace. I was told that 32 X 11.5 will fit if my rim has a backspacing of 3.0-3.5". I want to prevent rubbing at all costs, will this combo work? The kit that I'm looking at is the Rubicon Monotube 2". Also, can this kit stand on it's own, or will I need to mod other components to prevent issues down the road? Thanks.

A 2" lift will easily clear 31's. If you read the Project Steal-J article from the archives here, I think they stuffed 32's under one. A good read anyways and a lot of good info on modifications.
I am awesome at breaking stuff....fixing it is another story!

Thanks for the info, I also found the wheel size/lift chart that they have, pretty helpful. Looks like 31's will be my best bet.

When you have your new tire's on if your tires rub when you turn the wheel full lock remove the wheel stops and put 2 small washers in and reinstall them.
