iI bought aproject and need some advice on how to finish it. Is the stock steering box strong enough to handle the chevy axel with 35x14.5x15 tires. If so how do i hook the jeep box to the chevy steering. It still has the jeep leaf springs and all the chevy steering componants. Ijust need some ideas on what i need to fab. or a place to purchase what i need

The stock steering box is fine, or at least a new stock box that's not worn out would be fine. The frame mount is the weak point. Use a steering box brace to protect the frame rail from fatigue.
The Chevy driver's side steering arm won't work though. Chevy uses the not very desirable "front-to-back" steering and that would require the Chevy box. Chevy guys replace the box with a side-to-side steering box from a 2 wheel drive and then run some variation of "cross-over" steering.
Depending on how your leaf springs are setup, you may want to use a hi-steer arm on the passenger's side knuckle. If you don't currently have a flat-top passenger's side knuckle, like the driver's side, so that you can mount a steering arm, you'll need one. Some early '70's Dana 44's had a passenger side flat-top knuckle ready to go, or at least it was of a flat-top variety that could be milled flat and then tapped to accept a steering arm. But later Chevys had a round-top knuckle and that will need to be replaced in order to run "cross-over" steering.
Here's a couple pics of different knuckles. The left knuckle is a round-top, not good. If you don't have the type on the right, you'll need one from a '76 or older Chevy and then have it milled and tapped.

You can also buy a Reid Racing knuckle ready to go for about $200. It costs $70 to mill and tap a knuckle, so be careful if you have to buy one, that it dosen't end up costing more than just getting a Reid knuckle.
