Here's what I did today...

the rig is  a automatic 02 sport with a 2" suspension lift and 1" bl on 35" swampers with 4.88 gears...

supercharger still bolted to the plywood packaging base..

first I pulled the tb, removed the external screw in and press in vacuum ports, the screw in's bot pluged with pipe plugs including the IAT sensor, the press in's get soft plugs hammered in, replaced the injectors with the suplied injectors, then bolted the charger mounting plate on.

the rear wire loom fastner got ground off... well completely removed from the manifold.. from reading the instructions I figured it just needed to ground down a *** not the case here..

that wasn't enough to get the plug on and off easily, so I took it a step farther..

bolted on the super charger which required bending the ac lines around a ***

then on to the front support bracket which bolts right to the power steering pump. there was a 1/8" gap that got filled with two washers on the upper bolt.

next came the removal of the radiator and ac condensor to install the charge air coolant radiator..

I drilled holes through the "v" bar support to mount the cooler with hayden zip ties..

I started on getting the plumbing done and that's where I'm at right now...

more to come!

Is that the latest version that now uses the Eaton and the Unichip?

it's the latest, tho it's suposed to learn on it's own over a 500 mile period of restarts... we'll see tho. the unichip would prolly be a better option.

Looks good! Any hood clearance issues with the pulley?  Did the 1" body lift take care of that issue?

got a couple more things done today... It'll be running on monday.

got the charge air coolant lines plumbed in and the bilge pump in to circulate the coolant...

and made bracket from a stainless steel disc brake caliper slider off of something, to mount the MAP sensor to the engine instead of the fender per the instructions...

did a little grinding...

drilled holes and used the the original bolts off of the tb to bolt it on the bracket..

mounted to the engine, hooked up the wireing and the vacuum line to the manifold..

I don't know this to be true, but I'd be wary about mounting the map sensor to the engine. Sometimes sensors can't handle or haven't been tested to handle the vibrations of the engine and it might prematurely fail. If you're doing this for a customer, I'd put it on the fender so you don't get a callback. Just my 2 cents.

Anyway, I can't wait to see your smile when you take it out the first time. Maybe you should have a video clip so we can hear you giggle too.

well...I did that cuz the MAP originally mounts to the side of the tb on top of the engine. I don't think it'll know the difference and it eliminate having the hose flex that doesn't really fit so great to the MAP fitting,

I can't wait to drive it either!

Sorry, I agree. I'm confusing it with older years that were on the firewall. I should know that, my TJ is an '03. Maybe I should open the hood on it sometime.

well, didn't get er done today... the official excuse is due to a f150 that came in on the hook with a bad slave cylinder so.... I spent close to 4 hours on that!

what I did do on the tj is got the radiator put in.. after pulling it 3 times to trim the fan shroud, the first time I had aready refilled it.. lol what a PITA..

I had the hoses routed along the body up out of the way of the steering shaft..

come to find out, they gotta go under the shroud, the overflow bottle wouldn't fit on the second trim, then I finally got it right... trimmed like so..
a little off the side and shaved the bottom at an angle..

so the hoses poke out under and to the side as high as possible..

then I got the vacuum hoses all hooked up, I moved the steel line that goes to the evap can and rebent it to fit up the back of the engine instead of putting a long hose on it..

getting all the air out of the charge air coolant system turned out to be fairly easy, I just pulled one of the bilge pump hose off enough for it to get rid of the air lock..

I was in the process of triming the tb when the ford came in... you can see the block that I ground off so it will mount on the charger intake flange

and at the end of the day I was trying to figure out the routing for the belt... I must be a moron or the belt is to short... cuz it wouldn't fit any which way I tried. the instructions are different from the new set up and also wouldn't work.

here's another teaser pic... lol'

uh... 4 to 5 grand!

lol...  which after a test drive today, no one can convince me a stroker engine will out perform the stock engine running 4.5psi of boost for the same money, I've driven alot of different configurations, I would love to feel a stroker with the supercharger running 15psi tho...
