Hello everyone. Well I am planning to run the rubicon this summer and have some concern on whether or not my Jeep is ready. I have a 88 Cherokee with the stock 4.0 and auto tran. R.E. 5.5 short arm on 33"s, sliders, oil, trans, transfer case, gas tank & diff skids. I am still running the stock axles D30 front & D35 rear. Stock gears 308s or 373s and no lockers. Is it worth driving all the way out to northern California from southern New Mexico or would I just be waisting my time and money. Any honest opinions would be great. THANKS

won't be a waste...'
one thing about the rubicon is a bone stock jeep can make it from one end to the other of the rubicon. there are bypass routes for parts you may or may not be comfortable going through.
even if you have 3.08's... in low range you have 8.37's
