Hey all,
Awhile back I had posted a question if anyone knew about any type of Jeep Camper Attachments and such. I came across some unique stuff. Here some links for ya'll to enjoy.
The most unique (and cheap) I came across was the Origami. http://www.origamisleeper.com/Products.html
Most expensive (JK): http://www.earthroamer.com/galleries/xv-jp_first_photos/index.htm
One that I'm interest in: http://www.autohomeus.com/gallery/jeep.php
One that I'm waiting on to see what it is: http://www.wildboarproducts.com/campertops.html

I've been waiting to see what the Wild Boar one looks like before I make my purchase, but I have yet to get any type of response from them on it. So far, I've begun planning to say the heck with them and go with the Autohome Magnolia Extreme mounted to a Smittybult Rack system. The Extreme model only comes in small, but I plan to do quite a bit of trail riding and they add a bit more fiberglass to withstand the extra abuse. Also, there isn't that much of size difference between a small and large model, the large Magnolia has about an extra foot and a half of additional room. The new 50th anniversary carbon fiber model looks tempting as well. As for the rack system, I've been waiting on an answer from Smittybult and 4WD Hardware on the SRC rack specs because all they list is a 300lb limit. Which is more than likely a limit while the vehicle is in motion, just looking at the SRC it appears to be beefier than the "suggested" Wild Boar Rack. No one has been able to supply a stationary limit like the Wild Boar rack lists (300lb moving load, 1000lb stationary load). I also had another question about the SRC rack system, but they seem to be advoiding my question... What's the differnce between the Rugged Ridge RRC and the Smittybult SRC? $150.00??

Since I haven't heard from Wild Boar via email, I decided to contact them via phone. Talked to a wonderful lady by the name of Debra and she informed that the Camper Top hasn't been scheduled for release and pricing yet, but they should have a link to me by this evening, so we can see what the finished product will look like. They do manufacture some sweet looking ("Fastback" and "Fastback with T-Tops")hardtops for JKs, so this'll be interesting.
