The lights on the sound bar on my 05 TJ do not work when the doors are opened or when the switch on the turn signal lever is turned on. The bulbs are good. I checked the terminals on the LH light with the bulb removed and the door was open. It looks like there is 12 volts to each side. Im confused. The courtesy lights below the dask work ok. I have not been able to find a wiring diagram online. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a site for wiring diagrams without having to order them? Thanks

Thanks Redsand. I tried to get an Haynes manual for 2005 and was told by Auto Zone they were not available for 2005 Wrangler. I'll try tapping mine, but sounds like a ground problem. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the reply.

Did you check the dome override fuse in the fuse box behind the glovebox? Sometimes it is absent altogether, for those who take their doors off often.

I did check all the fuses which were all good. I thought i'd check check the door switches to see if multiple wires were connected to them as the lights under the dash work ok. I checked the passenger side first, and all seemed ok. As I reached towards the switch on the driver's side door jam, I noticed that the sound bar lights came on. The problem was a loose wire harness conector. I pushed the male and female ends together and everything works fine. Hope this helps others.
