is your engine light coming on at start up i dont understand your mileage even with 31s over the stock 28 inch stock tires your speedo and thus your odometer will be off but with 32" tires i was still gettin better than 15 stop and go drivin with 4.10 gears and my shift points were somewhere between 2900 and 3500 drivin like a fool maybe you are having a problem in your computer before you gear it maybe you should get the comp checked first it might save you some money. also i was able to lift the left front wheel off the ground when id leave a stop light (a friend has the picture ill try to get it so im not understanding your powerloss check a few other things before you pile money into it that might make it worse just my 2cents

Having one front tire come off the ground is nothing to brag about. It doesn't have much to do with an abundance of engine power. It just means that the power that should be going to the rear wheels and moving the Jeep forward is being wasted lifting the front tire off the ground.
That's called "jacking" and it's not desirable. That means there is something drastically wrong with your suspension, either design or worn components. Look up "instant center" and "anti-squat" for a better understanding.

I wasn't aware that getting a tire of the ground could be a bad thing Learn something new everyday.

thanx ft but my point is it sounds like his power loss is somethin besides gears... levi have you checked the exhaust after you drive it awhile and do you hear a whistling sound coming from tail pipe you could have a blockage from mud or old age in your catalytic convertor or muffler it should not be louder under hood than at tail pipe my point ius before you gear it get it checked out by a reliable mechainic and have your cop checked as soon as possible the light should come on for a few seconds every time you turn the key

Alright I might have some new info I decided to go looking for the loud blowing noise under my hood besides my fan and it seems like it's coming from my headders my buddy listened to of and thinks I ether have a crack in the pipe going downto my converter wich is horrably rusted but when I had my muffler replaced guy doing it said it was fine after he flicked it a little seemed weird to me but I didn't know anything really, so could the head gasket be blown or a hole in the pipe explain the loud noise, power and milage loss?

bad gasket at head or bad exhaust manifold it might be time to change one or the other or both

headers just evacuate the gases at a better flow rate giving a little more h.p. if your goin to change it now would be a good time before you bend or break a valve (not sayin you will but its happened) the manifold is cheaper in junk yard and the header gives you some power
