i am having a problem with my 4.0 .
what it does is . after it is cool it starts and runs fine . after it warms up .. it starts running funny .
ie. the rpm raises the throttle doesn't respond correctly after the rpm raises and then it will stall
and won't start until cool down ..  any advise on this ..

sounds almost like vapor lock. maybe spray some carb and choke cleaner into the throttle body to get the gum and varnish off. get a container of sea foam (if you can find it), and try that out.......as far as i know, the instructions are on there as to how to use it. that should hopefully get ya on your way

it could be, but don't hold me to that. does your check engine light come on while all this is going on?

no not at all ..  it runs great until it gets to running temp .. then goes dead .. i cleaned it with carb cleaner
and added sea foam to gas ..  no difference .. i guess i should start with the sensors on throttle body .. what do you think ..  my wife has the clamps on me to take it to a mechanic right now .. thanks for any help ..
