dana 44 from a 79/80 bronco

i found a dana 44 from a 79/80 bronco. The guy says they're from 79 but i think they're from 80. Either way they have coils on them now. Can I convert them to leaf springs with no major hiccups?

depends what are the brackets made of and how are they installed

ya, hack off all the brackets and put on a set of pads fot the leaves..
