Just wanted to share this little fact. It's snowing right now in Anchorage. That's right snowing on October 5th.

snowed here too over the weekend at about the 4000' mark. in missoula

it's just been getting cooler here. we usually don't get snow unless the moisture comes up from the south (nor easter), then we usually get dumped on pretty good depending on the stregth of the front.

Got a few inches then it got below freezing so it was icy this morning. Alaska it's so wonderful....NOT! LOL

Got another 2" last night. But at least it's warmer, 36 degrees this morning. We're having a "Heat Wave" LOL

I would if I could, I actually prefer cooler climates. I grew up as a military brat in Germany, Italy, Maine, Mass, Maryland, and the like. The 100 degree and above summers are very hot. But my job here rocks.
