nice touch with the brake light, and the upside down axle is sweet.

Mudb8 got it right. This build is all about the axle. The popular 1/4 ton military trailer used a straight thur design with no real thought to ground clearance. The Dodge Caravan axle is offset and when flipped upside down, it's all center line or higher. Fifteen inches of ground clearance with 30" tires. You will not find a better off road trailer axle.
