... cause it's so much easier when you can sit upright under it to work on it. Haha

I helped pull an XJ trans this weekend, you can see more here..

Well, we started one day, got hung up on those two silly bolts, so instead of fighting we quit and asked for advise, then got back after it the next week. It was the first time pulling a Jeep trans for either of us (should I really admit that here?)

Nope, this one came out to replace the hydraulic throw out bearing, then it's going back in. It will probably go back in a few weeks, there's no big rush, really it's up to the owner how soon he buys the new parts.

Well ya know Jason, I got a Jeep that needs tons of work.  If you love working on them I've got a project for you.  Only catch is you gotta get up here, and it's getting cold. LOL

I had an 86 cj7 that neede a throw out bearing replaced in it and didnt have a tranny jack so my buddy got on my creeper and we unbolted the tranny from the bell and he bench pressed it and i rolled him out from under it, replaced the bearing and wheeled him back under, pressed it back in and voila! new thowout bearing...I guess it helps too, to have a buddy that looks like the hulk!
