I'm thinking of buying the WARN PowerPlant Dual Force HP 9500LB Winch and was curious if I would need to add another battery to operate it?

ya don't need a second battery, it is a good idea though.

there's some tray setups that let you double stack the optima batteries and there's some that you can set them side by side (turned sideways from stock). i think i seen both of these in quadratec

The warn powerplant is a good winch I use mine allot and I only got one battery it's a optima yellow top sometimes I pull people out with my motor off.
