Just a thought on what the shop sells. To get deals on RE kits you have to pay a buy in price for RE. The price is a bit high to get price breaks on the lifts you sell. The buy in is a bit pricey as a friend of mine owns a shop and installs mostly RE kits. The bigger the buy in the more you get off. He bought in years ago and hasnt had to again. Im sure the price has went up. Im not sure if other manufacturers do this. He says if he didn't pay the buy in he might as well buy them from 4wd catalog. He may have bought into RC instead of RE. RC sells lifts for a broader spectrum of vehicles. He may not lift many jeeps or sees alot of trucks. Its hard to believe he didnt try to upsell some bumpstops, brake lines and disconnects.

Yeh I agree I am suprised they did not try sell me that stuff. They did try sell me disconnects on the other hand, nothing about extended bumpstops..

I talked with the place i bought the kit from again they also said the RE is a royal pain in the ass to deal with warranty on parts. RC they said replace everything without any problems in a timely manner. They said those were the main reasons for the switch.

Remember one last thing. I might say that RE kicks rc's butt, yet if your happy with it run it. Your the one that has to be satisfied. Get your bumpstops and disconnects and have fun. Im still waiting on brackets for my axle. So im jealous. I like the 33's look on the 4 inch in my opinion. You have a good lookin jeep.

Thanks. .

I got what i paid for. I was quoted almost $1500 for the similar RE kit. I paid $599.

I got what I wanted to clear the 33's without any rubbing, not the flex that i was expecting but oh well. sway bar disconnects will fix that and it still cost me $1000 less than the RE kit.

Your just going to have to sell it to me really cheap now since it has that bad shock. And since im being so nice as to buy it you should deliver it as well. LoL. x'2 for holding it in thier face. Most 4 wheel shops have an abundance of shocks in stock. Good luck
