Has anyone ever tried to fit a stock (or modified) 2006 Unlimted Wrangler hardtop onto a bobbed cj8? The Unl.'s length from the door jambs outter edge to the back gate is 59"... that's pretty close to the bobbed Scrambler's length.

The width appears (at least on my measurements) to be within 1/2 and inch or so... the only problem is the windshield frame... so any try this- with success?

I'm looking at doing this same thing right now as well.  I found a link where someone was converting a YJ top to a TJ.  And I've hear there was an article of JP Mag that put a TJ top on a YJ that I'm trying to find out about.  Anyone know how I'd look into that?
