I took the kids and cousins for a short ride today, even though I shattered an axle shaft and messed up a locker carrier, had a good time... this is what we call the rock pitt, about 5 minutes from the house,..

Ouch, sorry about the luck. Mine would of been 10 miles from home or worse, but that's my luck.

It has lockers and still moves when its in 4wd!

i drove it home banging and clangin... probably the reason I have a busted carrier also.

 

Ahh I thought you might have pulled the carrier while it was on the trail. your axle bearing looked wasted as well didn't know how well it would have gotten down.  

Ouch!  

but on a high note.......the worst day wheeling, is still better than the best day working  

All that small loose rock probably didn't help trying go easy on her.  

thats for sure, it's close to running on snow, ya jus don't need the shovel for when it spins out..  

I think I will make a new trail in the morning before football starts.  

dang, I coulda made it out there today, I'm still in phoenix,

found some carriers on craigslist here in phoenix and was waiting to hopefully hear from em today, no luck so far... so I'm gonna head towards anehiem in the morning. gotta wait till monday to load though.  

That was close by should have stopped by and went for a ride.
