Brake drum removal

I have inherited a 66 CJ5 and have never worked on cars before.  I am starting with new brakes but cannot get off the drums.  I have taken off the wheel, removed the cap, removed the snap ring, removed the bolts from the hub.

My question is:
Does the hub come off the drum?
What is next.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

yep it comes off, it has flat tapered screws around the perimeter of the hub.

clean em up and use a impact driver to get em out, if they strip, drill em or leave em attached to the hub provided they don't need to be turned.

getting the rear hubs off will be hard if they're on there tight as they should be. you don't need to remove the hub for a brake job...

heres an Idea I jacked from the cj3b page.....

Thanks,

Do I have to do this in order to get the drums off so I can work on the brakes?

If not, is there anything special I need to do to get the hub/drum off?

the drum will almost fall off after ya pull the three screws out, ya do not need to remove the hub as the pic shows to do the brakes...
