I believe that that is a shifted or separated belt. When an outer belt shifts in the sidewall, it will break free or cut itself free from the rubber. What you see there is the rubber itself trying to keep in the pressure. Kinda like a rubber air hose thats on its way out. PLEASE correct me if anybody thinks I'm wrong here. Just woke up... Little hazy from last night still!!

I'd call it a will pop instead of a may pop.

i check my tires daily. if i see something like that, it gets pulled and on goes the spare. i don't understand these people who don't look at their rides. how long does it take to walk around and check your tires? maybe about the amount of time it takes for the motor to warm up?

Someone left a beer bottle under my creepy crawlers the other night in a dark parking lot but before I left I spotted it and threw it away,so you should always look at your tires before you get on the road.

that tire was run low for a long period of time, ya can tell from the outside lugs that are worn lower than the middle tread
get real chewy. thats an operator error... c and d rated tires cannot be run low especially in a hot environment.
