Transmission Model  AW4 30-43 LE   4818179
Serial# 96E- E   52246
Vehicle  Cherokee, 1995, 6 cyl engine 4.0 litres

Details
1. Overhauled trans with new kit
2. Car moving forward when gear on drive as usual
3. Car not moving backwards even with lever engaged in reverse postion
4. Removed valve body and altered check balls position as per ATSG manual for 1995 car, problem resolved but when road tested it did not reverse again .
5. Stopped the car after road test and when engaged lever in reverse position it shifted with loud clicking noise and car reversed but with the loud clicking noise.

It is worth noting that the accumulator springs were mixed up and I am unable to find any reference drawing or  clear specific information to identify the spring positions ,pins and sizes, compressor free length, coil diameter, number of coils and wire diam. I tried Alldata and ATSG  with no success.

Can you help in identifying the spring positions and sizes ?
Any other possible reasons for the clicking loud noise and the intermittent reverse action.
