I have a vibration in the front left hub, just in 2 wheel and boy is it ugly. It went away when I locked in the hubs, first thing I am gonna do is repack the bearings, what size spindle nut socket do I need to pick up for this 75 with I believe model 30 front axle. Also I want to check all my boxes do I use 80-90 weight in them all, axles trans and transfer. thanks for any knowlage

it takes a hub socket, there isn't a hex nut in there. the backyard way is use a screwdriver and a hamer to knock the outer locknut loose, then it and the inner nut will spin off by hand.
have ya checked the joints on the stub shaft?

Unless you play in deep water, use Mobile One 75-140 synthetic. Cost $15 a quart but is well worth it.
If you play in deep water you should always change the diff fluid after each dunk, so it's hard to justify the synthetic cost.

What size of hub socket, I got one for a 44,60, and one thats a 2 3/32. For now if they ain't been banged on with a clisel or screwdriver I'd rather use and or buy the right thing. Now don't get me wrong impriviseing in Alaska is part of life.

they were 2 1/16" hex up untill 86 in some models...
