Thanks to all who attended and made this the biggest rally yet!
The Great American Jeep Rally began several years ago as a means to raise awareness for responsible off-road activities and to benefit people in need through donations to charity. Every year, the proceeds from this non-profit adventure go to three great organizations: the North East Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs, and two other great charities whom we have chosen to help out. For the 2008 Rally, we directed our generosity towards the Florida, MA E.S.T.E.A.M. program, and the Somers, CT Emergency Fund.
This year and going forward, we are hoping to make many changes to the way we do business around here. The first big change is the NEW FORUM!!!! now accessible to the general public and conveniently hosted alongside the website, http://www.jeeprally.org. There are also new Sheriff's in town with great new ideas and new directions for the Rally. Our goal is to grow the size of our charitable donations, increase operational transparency, and most importantly make it an even better experience for you, our guests!
So, here's your opportunity to tell us what you think, share your ideas, share your experience and share your pictures. We welcome constructive criticism. Help us make this wonderful family event an even greater success for the future.
