FOR SALE ASAP:
NOTE this is in the Washington, DC area!

1995 Jeep Cherokee, Red
4-Door, Hatchback
4WD, 5-SPD manual transmission, manual everything (no AC, no power locks)
4-CYL, 2.5 liter
18-25 MPG (city/hwy)

Owned since 2003, many new parts including new radiator (2007), fan clutch (2004), brake parts (2008), gas tank (2006), transmission rebuild (2008),

Runs great—just went on a 8 hour road trip in the car last week. Very dependable, have never broken down. The original Jeep Cherokees are infinitely repairable, especially this model with all manual operation.

This Jeep was in a fender bender in May 2008, its first and only accident, resulting in non-structural damage to passenger side front panel and bumper area. Selling with the salvage title—fix or not, your choice—mainly body work. It also has rust on the rocker panels and between the seat rails that I've fixed a couple times but needs to be done again.

This model is no longer made and would make a fun off-road or camping vehicle. I've been driving it with the damage and it still runs fine, couldn't afford to fix it. The rust underneath and damage to front panel are a consideration for you. The engine has many miles left and many new parts, just changed the oil.

I love this car and would continue driving it until it fell apart—this Jeep gets great mileage for an SUV, can hold an entire apartment's worth of belongings, tons of camping gear, or just tow heavy items—but student loans just kicked in, and I don't drive enough living in D.C. to justify the insurance and ownership costs anymore.

Bring own temp plates or tow away. My registration and insurance expire October 1st, would like to sell by then. Selling for $750, willing to negotiate with the right buyer.

Please email me with serious inquiries only—I work full time and won't be have much time to show/sell the Jeep, so please re-read and be aware that it does have rust issues as well as the accident damage to the front end before you contact me! This Jeep needs to be of-street by October 1st, and I would love to see it go to someone who loves the older Jeeps and would make it into something fun or keep driving it. I'll miss my Jeep

Please check out pictures (you'll be able to see the damaged part too) at: http://picasaweb.google.com/emily.peckenham/Jeep
