trans. is full of water

man i sunk my 98 wrangler and it ran deep in the water a long time...the trans is blowing out milky pink...my dipstick is 3 inches over full line...anybody have any help???

pull the pan, change the filter..
you'll also have to drill and tap the converter for a 1/8" pipe plug to drain it. the pump wont empty the converter by pulling a cooler line and starting it up, only the 4.5 quarts in the pan will come out. (the line on the right side bottom of the radiator is the presure line)
some claim if you put the tranny in drive it'll draw out the fluid in the convertor also, about 11 quarts total,... never works for me, I get 11 quarts if I keep filling the pan, after a few minutes of running its a little pink again from water mixed fluid trapped in the convertor.

if ya run it with water in it it'll puke it out when the water boils, there is a risk of the fluid catching on fire from the hot exhaust.

It'll take alot of fluid to flush it without drilling the converter to drain.
