Anyone know of a kit or homebrew approach to putting full floating axles/hubs in a stock Chrysler rear axle in a '98 XJ? Thanks

Why would you want to? It's a strength thing and the 8.25 axle is hardly a strength axle.

I really liked that setup in my old D44 for flat towing.

I appreciate your taking the time to reply, but do you or do you not have an answer to my original question?

Sorry. I've seen them for a CJ Dana 44 and they cost a $1000. I find it difficult to believe that anybody would make one for your 8.25 because I wouldn't think anyone would spend that kind of money on 8.25.
What's wrong with flat towing it with the tc in neutral?

warn has em for the d44 is all.
I'd hav a set myself if they'd work with the rubicon disc brakes. I've had bearing and seal problems since it was new.
