Looking at a 2007 Wrangler X. In 2007 did the Dana 44 come on all models, or was the 35 standard? Looked up on different sites, getting conflicting reports. It appears in 2008 the Dana 44 is std?? Also, if anyone knows, with the auto trans, would it have 4:10's. Hope to see it this weekend and hopefully the options will be listed in glovebox.
Thanks

According to the Chrysler spec sheet, the Dana 44 rear axle is standard on all models.
The Dana 35 is a package option, but what that option package is, it doesn't say. But, it can not be ordered as an option by it's self. My guess is some municiple/government package; ie water meter reader vehicle, postal, right hand drive etc.
The 4.10 is standard with auto and Rubicon, included with the tow package, or optional on non Rubicon with std trans.
