What parts are needed to convert a 1991 YJ 6cyl. AT with manual steering to power steering? Will the parts from any YJ from 87' to 95' work? 4cyl. or 6cyl. make a difference? How about parts from a Cherokee?
I have found a nice 91' Yj that has manual steering but the wife doesn't like it, and since both of us will be driving it......If momma ain't happy....any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Tim

The Cherokee accessory drive stuff is totally different than Wrangler. The 4cyl and 6cyl Wrangler look very close, but no guarantee. There are a lot differences in part numbers between the 4cyl and 6 cyl for accessory drive stuff. And they seem to be the same 91-95 and different 87-90.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a pretty easy job. A steering box and pump, hoses, brackets and belt should do it.
Thanks again, Tim
