Im laughing as im writing this, but I do sympathize with turkeyhunter2. Maybe if you could print a short version of your story on your winshield so we could see it as we pass so we'll know to wave to guys like you. Its not your fault you got trapped in the married w/ kids cliche after all is it? LOL ill wave at you dude, no worries!

I THINK THERE SHOULD BE SOME WAY TO TELL IF THEY ARE 4X4 OR NOT THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF JEEP COULD DO THAT SOME WAY ON THE WINDSHIELD TO LET YA KNOW

you don't neccesarily need to get a 4 door jeep, my yj works fine....the kids start whining, i tell them they could be walking

well at least there will be a bunch of good jk's for sale in a couple of years when something new comes out for yup's to chase after,then we can buy them and wave to one another.

No doubt, but till that day comes we shall suffer the ridicule. Dirt cheap Jeeps for sale!! That sounds good. I got my 05 Rubi for under 20 g's, so I was happy about that.

Way to go, 'mtrakos'! I would certainly wave at them if they want a wave! Some are just 'grouchy'...
I got my very first Jeep (2005 Rubicon-Impact Orange!) in 2006, and I LOVE her!!! I will share the love with anyone who wants it! *wavin* ![]()

Why not wave? Thats like when I had my 97 xj. It was lifted, rock krawler bumpers, BFG ATs. I got nothing but dirty looks from Zj owners. I'll wave to any jeep. If a liberty wants to wave I'll wave. If a flippin compass waves I'll wave. What is the jeep thing? Paying too much for it, beating it up and personalizing it. That can be done with all. I'm happy to see the wave isn't gone with new jeepers

Why is it just because a truck has 4 doors it's "soccer moms" .That's a unfair statement.Also why is it that if it's not what YOUR driving then it's junk or not a "real jeep"? Look at all the jeep cherokees that are modded and wheel hard,including grands.
96 grand,3.5 Tuff Country,3/4 spacers,rusty's trackbar and mount,dual stabilizers,JCR rock sliders, Dynomax catback etc etc.

here in east texas its a normal thing to wave at people. however even on a bad day one jeeper must wave at another. you dont wave at the driver you wave at the jeep. its like when you see one ambulance flip another off its just a have to thing they arent flipping the crew off they are flipping off the idea of working. a jeep is a jeep is a jeep

You Can Pretty much tell a poser right off the bat.
I don't wave until i"m sure. About right at eye contact...
I am A friendly guy and get along with everyone but can't stand a poser.
Jeepers can sinse a real jeep person.
One that enjoys that hard ride that feeling of controll.. you being one with the jeep.
But I will give the posers credit for wanting to be part of the jeep world after all we are all a specail breed of people that we can only truely understand.
