My 2002 Sahara didn't come with the owners manual so I was hoping someone could tell me the fluid levels for my 4.0 ie: oil, tranny fluid, etc.  Also what is the normal operating temperature for the same engine?  Mine runs about 250 degrees.  I also have a loud sqeaking noise when the Jeep starts to roll.  I think it's the brakes, the front discs are staring to groove, but could bearings make that noise too?  If so how hard are they to replace?

Engine oil 6 quarts. As far as temp gauge goes usually straight up. Tranny fluid depends on tranny ( auto or manual?)

Okay here's 2 links that I looked up as far as the capacities, hope it's a start.

As far as the temperature mine usually hovers around 200-210 unless it's really getting worked in the Texas heat then it might get up to 220.

I don't even think of myself as a vet.  Guy's have done much more than I have.  Expecially the Army guys, 18 months in the Desert, I did 12 months and that was bad enough.  I have a lot of respect for the Army and Marines over there.  I was attached to an Army unit doing convoys, those guys deserve respect.

Yep they deserve respect, my brother in law is over there doing convoys and such when he's not out in a tank.  I myself got out in 1999 with my six year service and the worst I saw was Somalia. Which was bad enough for me, lost a few friends there.

The whole "Blackhawk Down" thing.  Yeah that was bad.  I'll probably get out after my six too.  I'm putting on Tech Sergeant in a few months then my Seperation date is in July 09.  It's just hard trying to have a "normal" family deploying all the time.

Yeah I hear that about having a "normal" family life.  I was in the Army for 6 years and got to spend roughly 1 and a half years at home.  The rest was deployed or tdy.

That sounds about right, the military doesn't make sense half the time.  I love training for things that will never happen.  That makes tons of sense.
