Check out Crane High Clearance http://www.cranehiclearance.com/welcome.html
This wont solve your problem, but they might can send u in the right direction. You might could use an adapter from 5x5.5 to 5x4.5 to make them work. Stil dont know if that would work.

Is there a difference between my D30 inner and outer knuckles and the rubicon knuckles? Cuz at one point i heard that they where just D30 parts on a 44 axle.
And if i were to build up an axle to put my 35's (maby 37's in the future) would those D30 knuckles be a weak link? or do they not really ever break?

ya, the 03-06 are all d30 except for the diff and 30 spline inner axles, one of my stub shafts came out of a dead d30.
I've never seen a bent knuckle that wasn't in a bad accident.
the 07-up rubi axles are heavier. and cost about the same.
when I manage to get some highline fenders, I'll be sportin 37's on my rubi axles till they bust.

jcar: This is ridiculous! I broke the steel brake line on the driver's rear side of my 04 Rubicon, between the T block on the diff and the rubber flex line. The whole assembly is maybe 30" long. Price from Jeep dealer........$438, plus freight, plus tax. I guess I'm getting too old, 'cause that is so #$^Q@&((Q outrageous I can't believe it. Thinking of getting the ends close to each other and bridging the gap with duct tape.
Bridging the gap with duct tape!... now that *** is funny... LMAO.. hey.. let me know how that works... lmao... i know how you feel.. have you thought about getting just a bare piece of steel brake line from your local parts store and flaring the ends yourself... or check your local recycling yards... good luck
edit- sorry just read the rest of the posts... i laughed so hard from your duct tape statement i didn't even think of the rest of the thread...
'05 Rubicon-Stock, except for 265/75/16 Maxxis Bighorns.

The parts guy told me that the part went from 42 dollars to the 438 dollars. The reasoning for this is unknown. He said that the manufacturers changed as well as the price. He said more than likely a price mistake.
Another chrysler parts guy said that it was because of the black rubber coating on the line. He said the coating was worth it. I let him know that I could do the same thing with a regular steel line and plasticoat and yet come out 420 dollars ahead. He said it wouldn't be a chrysler quality part then.
Regular steel line I think is the same quality but if you have to have the plastic coating from chrysler then by all means buy it. Contact me when your done I have some stuff for sale.
I break stuff.
