I finally did it, I bought my first Wrangler. It's got the I 6 5 speed manual. I have no idea what else it has, like gears, tranny, transfer case. It's all stock I know that. I want to fit 32's on it, get new bumbers, spare tire carrier, winch, all the stuff needed to be a moderate trail rig. Any advise or product info would be appreciated.

It has a NV3550 trans and a 231 transfer case. The Sahara will usually have a Dana 44 rear with 3.73 gears.
Does the rear look like this... Dana 44

or like this... Dana 35

can that be right, I didn't think the d44 came on the sahara. I thought it would be d35 in the rear with 3.07 gears.

I've never seen a TJ Sahara that didn't have a Dana 44 rear. I always thought it was standard with Sahara but I think I've seen an options list from Chrysler that says different.
There is no mistaking it though. It's very different looking. The fill plug is a dead give away. D35s have a rubber plug and D44s have a thread-in plug.

yup that's where i seen it too. The original specs say d35 with 3.07 gears. so i was a litle confused. who knows, i know it looks like the d44 and i'm happy with that. now for some gears, coil spring blocks, bumpers and a winch.
