Personally I have had good luck with BFG mudterrain tires MT. They work ok off road give you that look. They last well but you must rotate them. Ask around there are lots of tires I have not run.
I break stuff.

The new BFG Mud TA KM2s are great. They are qieter and smoother than the BFG Mud TA KMs. I have run many BFG Mud TAs over the last 20 years and have always thought they were wonderful. These KM2s are even better. They don't have that little notchy washboard feel when your going slow like the KMs.
With their new heavier side wall, which was the only knock against the old KMs, I strongly recomend the KM2s.

dang, thats hard to believe considering my BFG's run in the 40,000 hwy mile range and I've never had a set of swampers or boggers last up to even 20,000...

I would have to say the KM2's would be a great choice of rubber.

I had a set of 12.50x33x15 M/T Baja Claws with about 13K on them. They did a fine job in most everything except snow (very slippery! But what isn't?) Talk about loud highway noise. Could carry on a converstion without yelling I just got a new set of BFG MT KM2's. I can't believe the difference. Thought I was driving a different Jeep! Smooth and very comfortable on fwy. Looking forward to getting them all messy Everything good I read by others, so far has proven to be true.
