i searched around today and i found the OME system on 4wheelparts. i am not big on ordering this from a big name but i get military discount and there is one right down the street so i dont pay any shipping. can anyone take a look at it and tell me what more i need from that kit compared to getting it from rocky-road? other than the track bars from jks and the BL and MML

ftgiles:
I'm pretty sure the hard top version is the heavy load spring??

yeah, fastjeepwrangler said the hardtop version is the heavy duty coils... i'm curious about the spring rates or rate, now on the OME coils.

There isn't really an OME lift kit. OME sells springs and shocks, for the most part. The springs come in pairs. OME933 (TJ HD front springs). OME942 (TJ HD rear springs). The shocks are each. N66 (2") or N66L (4") (front medium ride shocks). N67 (2") or N67L (4") (rear medium ride shocks).

All the other parts listed in the kit, the JKS stuff, is packaged together with the OME stuff by DPG offroad. It doesn't look like there is a package discount price.

If you want to spend the time, and order through a couple different places to save some money, you could.

What DPG has listed as kits are complete kits.

Personally, I think the JKS adjustable track bars are expensive and not needed for the 2" lift. I would opt for the trackbar bracket for the rear and save $400.

I'm a firm beleiver in properly designed brackets to place track bars in their correct geometry.

Now, don't get me wrong. There are a lot of poorly designed reloaction brackets that you should stay away from.

Adjustable track bars do nothing to correct suspension geometry. They only center the axle, which is not really correct.
