my preference is a selectable, limited slip is great, it just don't cut it in alot of situations and it causes problems in other situations not to mention tire wear.
it's pretty simple to push a button or pull a knob for the instance ya need it fully locked or limited.
theres some stuff available for what you want including the e-locker and auburn ected. also check out a trutrac. http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/TrueTrac.shtml

Stay away from the ECTED. A lot of people have had problems with them. They are still working out the bugs. Customer service isn't good, and they won't reimburse for install expenses. Even when they give you a new locker and say "Yup, it was defective".
I don't know what the attraction to the limited slip/selectable locker combination is. Some aditional parts to wear out??
ARB and OX have been around and are well documented in their issues or lack there of. Have not heard anything bad about E-locker, but they are newer to the market.

i went with the true-trac in the rear and a spool up front with real issues yet... i kno i hear a lot about the true-trac not working when one tire in the air but thats B.S. from my experiance, granted it doesnt transfer amazing amounts of power but enough to keep you moving.
