So I thought about muds but since we don't see much mud here in Vegas decided to go A/T. Even though we did get rain last night for the first time in i think nine years...lol. But finally! Anyways what's the story on Yokohama Geolanders. Got a great deal on them but figured I'd ask the experts before I did the final install. I can pick them up mounted, balanced, six year waranty. 33 12.50 15 for about 750. Should I do it or look for another A/T?

Anybody know anything about these tires? They sound like some high class land rover tire but will the be good for a jeep?

I've heard some good things, just never had any or wanted em due to the lack of traction in mud.

i think that if you havent bought them yet, i would get something else. i think that for the money you would be happier with some bfg all terrains. i dont really have anything bad to say about the yokos, just personal preference.

I loved the 35 inch Yokohama Geolander Mud terrains I had a few years back on my XJ.
They were great on road (I was running them on OMF bead locks unbalanced at speeds in excess of 70 mph occasionally).
They also performed great off road and stuck to rocks well, but they did tend to wear a bit fast with all of the road driving I did.
I cant speak about the Yokohama All-Terrains though.
I would definitely get the Geolander Mud terrains again!

I know a couple people that ran them and were happy with them. They are on the milder side of AT's though, so something to consider...
So it's not a Jeep... sue me... it's still faster!

Alright!! That's what I was looking for.e going on they are going on tomorrow. I figure with as much street as this thing sees, can't be a bad option for the price and warranty. thenn after I've beat on it more off road and have a better feel for what it and I am confident doing then I'll step up to more aggression. The plan was to beat it up from the begining. Now I love it too much!! Still wanna flip it though..LOL

Ok so I got them and love them. Maybe has to with having a tire with tread again who knows but so far so good. And they're bigger then the other 33's I had. YOOHOO!!!
