Can you afford that amount all at once? My wife would beat me with a shovel if I told her I wanted to spend 11K on my Jeep all at once. I'm sure I've spent that amount over the years as I also have a 97' TJ, but I spent it over an 11 year period. If you have the money to do it all at once, then great. What I had to do is by pieces here and there until I got the Jeep I wanted. I spent alot of time on e-Bay and got killer deals. To answer your question, I'm not sure if that is a good deal or not as I don't know what some of the items are going for. What helped save my butt is the fact that I'm a Machinist/Welder by trade. So I built alot of my own stuff. Good luck with the build.

I wouldn't call it a scam, there's at least 9-10 grand worth of parts there, have you looked up the pricing of each items?

another thing is you can buy another tj already equipt with all those items for about 11-15 grand...
I've come accross some nice rubicons for under 14,000

using the 5.5 and a 1" body lift I'd opt for the 37's. if you have a 5 spd man tranny 5.13's or 5.38's is the gearing you'll want, I'm not so sure you'll get em for a d30 though, which really is insuficient for running lockers and 35's unless its gonna be a pavement princess.

send me a pm with the link, I'll check it out...

First off, that's probably an old offering based on the fact that ToysByTroy is no longer. They shut down at the end of 2007.

I added it all up with the exception of the TxT sport bar, used prices from Quadratec, $500 frt bumper, $600 rear bumper, $300 rockers and came up with only $10,200. Quadratec is pretty much retail prices, so, no, probably not a good deal.
