Hello all, I am new to the forum and relatively new to jeeping so bear with me...

I'm trying to lift a Jeep I just bought here in Japan MITSUBISHI JEEP J-55, check out:

but have had no luck finding kits from local sources due to language and cost(!) here in Japan.

Before going into too much detail, what are the considerations when trying to find a CJ or other lift kit that will work for this application?  Technical specs on aftermarket springs and shocks does not seem readily available for comparison.

Failing a 'close fit' for an existing kit is there a resource for u-bolts, bushings, and shackles that I could match to used leaf springs I find here myself?
