Hi all! I would like to know if the axle's from an 04 Jeep Rubicon could be made to fit under a 87 Jeep YJ with not many problems. Also will they hold up to a 96 5.7 vortec motor and 4L60 power output? I will be useing the NP 241OR Rocktrack 4.1 T-case.

Do you already have them? just something to think about, tj's dana 44 axle tubes are smaller then some others, for example Scout, or jk dana 44's. look into it, you can get complete, new jk dana 44 for under $2000.  

ya if by "with not many problems" you mean lots of cutting and welding... thats the only problem aside from being a little weaker than say a wagoneer or a scout.
