Hi, guys!
Mr.Handyman here (me!) wants to replace the fuel injectors in my '94 Grand Cherokee Laredo with 5.2 liter(318 cu in) V-8.
I bought a new-rebuilt set, they come with seals and I was wondering if any of you nice people have any advice for me on changing them.
I've found instructions and some advice about purchasing a "quick-connect" repair kit, although I'm not sure why I need that.
Any hints, tips or cautions before I start this week-end?
Thanks!
Bill

i never changed injectors, but i understand that the pressue needs to be relieved on the system. something about unscrewing the gas cap, removing the feul pump fuse and cranking the engine to remove the gas and pressure off the feul rail. someone else out there got more/better advice?
I work to support my Jeep

Manliness (if that's what we're calling him) is right on about removing the pressure from the fuel rail.
You might need a special wrench to remove the supply line to the fuel rail connection. The injector wiring plugs have a slider and a button to release them. Mark the injector wires for reinstallation on the correct injector.
Clean the mainifold with compressed air so no junk falls down the injector holes when you remove them.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
