After installing a lift kit and larger (33") tires, braking performance seems to suffer.
What about an article on upgrading the stock brakes with existing off-the-shelf stock OEM parts that may be found from junkyard donors or the local Auto Parts store if at all possible?
Vanco seems to offer the required parts but seems a little pricey. It may be worth it to purchase this offering but not everyone is able to afford such a venture.
I've heard of borrowing parts from the early '95 time frame Grand Cherokee to upgrade the rear brakes with bolt on parts. But what about the front brakes that carry the main load during braking periods.
This area should be looked at a little closer as there isn't much info on the internet and most are not savvy enough to be able to cross reference the required part numbers to make the required transition to better braking performance on a shoe string budget.
