why is it that on every rubicon i see for sale or when someone is bragging what their rubicon has they always say they have 4.10's when in all actuality they really have 4.11's can anyone comment on this???

It doesnt matter, you can run 4.09's with 4.11's. or 4.10's with 4.11's. That little bit makes no difference, at least thats what Randys Ring and Pinion says.

Most 4x4s don't have the same size ring and pinion in both the front and rear, and therefore do not have the same "exact" ratio. But, are quoted as have "X" ratio. Is it the front "rounded" ratio or the rear "rounded" ratio that gets quoted?
For a reverse cut hi-pinion front Dana 44, Yukon calls it 4.11, Richmond 4.10, and Dana, Motive and Accu call it 4.09.
