I'm trying to replace my stock sway bar links. How do you remove the sway bar links? Looks like it was all one piece from the factory!

For the front sway bar links use a tie rod separator. The links attach to the sway bar with tie rod ends.

Are there any special tools required for installing the new links once the old ones are removed? Other than maybe a torque wrench?

Are you replacing the the links with stock ones? If so, just put the nuts on and torque the tie rod nut to 27ftlb and the lower nut to 70ftlb.

Thanks for your help. I was hoping to have it put back together tonite, but looks like theres more involved than just removing A couple bolts! Ps. its a 99' Tj with a 2" ProComp lift with 32" BFG MUD on 15X10 M/T Classic locks. I haven't read anything about needing longer swaybar links with only a 2" lift. Hopefully I won't need to replace these too often.

ya can stick a block of wood between the frame and the sway bar, give it a couple good wacks on the side not the top or the taper'd stud, with a sledge, the taper'd links will fall out. or ya can mess with a joint fork.
the stockers are ok a set for a 2.5-3" lift is better and will wliminate the ball joint type links.
