Hello, all -
I'm new to this site and Jeep ownership. I may be posting on the wrong blog, but I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to what I should use to clean/care for my plastic fender pieces and bumpers. They are stock 2005 Wrangler Sport pieces. There are some oily-looking spots on them that I believe to be tire shine product that I was unable to get off with car wash. I am reluctant to use Armor All as it seems to leave a greasy film. But maybe that is best. Anyone have any tried and true suggestions? Thanks a lot.

I had the exact same problem with mine and one of them was really faded so i just decided to go with the Sarah look and took my fenders off, sent them to a painter and a day later he had them matching my jeep. I went this route becuase the only way I was able to get my fenders to look semi-new was to put that Armor All stuff(which we can agree leaves that greasy film).

I think its called "Mr. Magic", its a thick white tire shine thats concetrated, so add 1/4 water to 3/4 tire shine in a spray bottle and go to town...its not as greesy as the armor all and lasts longer too.

a little wd40 on a rag works ok too. i used to use armorall on them, but it doesn't last, and i got tired of my wife complaining about the oily-ness. a good tire brightener will work.

my fenders were grey from being weathered so i used black shoe polish. it works well.just apply it in the shade so it doesn;t streak
