I am looking at getting this lift but I am in a great need of advice for what parts I will need that are not included in the kit. I will be putting on 34x9.5 Super Swamper TSLs. I have a stock 98 wrangler with a 4cyl. I have read that some people hardcore recommend a SYE with an CV drive shaft and at the same time read that it's not needed with this size lift. If anyone has any experience/insight, please let me know. Thanks!

i have the same lift on my 06 tj. i have not had it on very long but i did and would recommend doin the sye and driveshaft. just because a trasfer lowering case in my opinon is a joke, (i might not be a maste 4x4'er) but all it does is limit your ground clearance. the 34's r u gonna run a body lift at all or since the tires are 9.5 you think their gonna fit? your also gonna need shocks i got rubicon's res. good luck

Yes, you need a SYE for 3.5". You also need 5.13 or at least 4.88 gears for that 2.5L and 34s.

You won't get anything from new control arms. So, put your money elsewhere in the beginning of your build. Gears and SYE.

New lift springs, longer shocks, and either adj track bars or track bar relocation brackets, both front and rear are the most important. Then adjust your bump stops to keep your tires out of your fenders. Add some new sway bar links front and rear, and your set.

An sye will require adj rear upper control arms for adjustment of the pinion and depending on how things turn out, you might need adj front upper control arms to fix the caster, but not likely. But these can be cheapo adj CAs. They don't need to be SUPERFLEX.

34's will NOT rub with the proper length bumpstops...

the 3.5 is awesome with the 34x9.5's

what else are you going to do with it? Maybe cap it and make it a air tank, let me know so I can steal some of your ideas for my bumpers on my willy's truck that I have to get started on I will send some pic's as soon as I can and let everyone see how it goes.

No, your front drive shaft is already a cv type. You just need to keep the pinion angle the same as stock. This will happen if you keep stock length or near stock length front control arms.
