The hardest thing about installing an SYE is getting the snap rings off.

It takes a BIG pair of snap ring pliers. I did a couple the hard way, trying to remove the snap rings, keeping the tips of the pliers from comming out of the snap ring as you pulled up.

Then I got smart, spread the snap ring with the snap ring pliers, grab it with needle nose pliers, bend, and off it comes. The SYE kit comes with new snap rings anyway. DRR.

I'm very new to this life style but i'm learning so much from this website.. I just put the Fabtech 6" crawler kit with Dick Cepek 35's on my Rubicon, i would imagine the 8" would ride about the same.  I love the height and articulation but from the rest of my buddies i'm starting to wish i would of went with Rubicon Express. They are just smoother, tougher, and work better. there has already been a couple minor problems with mine, due to the nuts that hold on the long arms, i think they should of reversed the threads on them b/c after hard riding they loosen up a bit and to do any type of allignment you have to take one side almost off.
