Does anyone know anything about the 8" Fabtech Crawler system. I'm wanting to put a larger suspension on my jeep and don't really know which way to go with it.

What kind of Jeep?

8"??? That's crazy. What are you trying to accomplish?

8" on any jeep is a lot unless you do a LOT of driveline modifications...same as ftgiles asked: what are you trying to do?

I am also interested with this kit. I have a worn out 4" procomp lift kit in need of replacement and was looking for a long arm kit for my 97'tj 4.0. Sorry not trying to highjack this post, just want a big jeep.

on full size axles it wouldn't be so bad up there with a streched out wheel base... about a foot.
not to sure about rock crawling but it'd be great in the mud pit if you have enough horsepower.

there's a 7" kit out that uses rear leafs on the tj and converts the cj's and yj's that feels pretty stable.

I'm not into the big lifts myself, with a 4" and high line fenders ya can get 40's or larger under the tj.

ya i guess u would need full size axles to stop this thing from rolling over. I might go with a 5.5" bds and high line fenders. thanks for the reply

that is 5.5" rubicon express and it works great for me and I go rocks, mud, sand, logs, hard pack dirt, and loose dirt, off-camber, uphill, downhill you name it and I am on it.

I was also looking at this kit. Your ride looks sweet. What size tires u got ? Did you install it yourself and if so was it a tuff project?

35's these are the new ones and they sit a little higher then the ones in the first pic but they are good all around highway not the best but everywhere else good.I had the lift put on at 4wheel parts and they did a bad job so I took it to Jay Miller at TAG motorsports and he staitend it out for me.Now that I look at it I know that I could do it myself. the guys at 4wheel parts told me all about the how hard it was then after I saw what they did I know that I could've dud a better job then them.

it's pretty simple to bolt on the suspension parts, and some simple removal and welding, just make sure the caster reset and a complete alignment is done.

I'm also a big fan of the RE long arm kit. Just installed the 5.5 lift on my 97' TJ. It works sweet.
